Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern use of the TradieDial service provided by TradieDial (“we”, “us”). By using the service you (“Customer”) agree to them.

2. The service

We provide an AI telephone receptionist that answers calls, captures details, flags emergencies, and books appointments. Features may change as the product evolves.

3. Customer responsibilities (important)

As the data controller for your callers’ data, you agree to:

  • Register with the ICO and pay the data protection fee where required.
  • Ensure callers are lawfully informed that calls are answered by an AI and may be recorded, and maintain a lawful basis (e.g. a documented Legitimate Interest Assessment).
  • Publish your own privacy information to your callers and handle their data-subject requests.
  • Not use the service for unlawful, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
  • Keep your dashboard password secure.

4. Not for life-threatening emergencies

The service is not an emergency service. It is designed to capture and flag urgent jobs, not to dispatch help in life-threatening situations. Callers facing danger (e.g. a gas leak, fire, or medical emergency) must contact the emergency services (999) or the relevant emergency line. We are not liable for outcomes arising from reliance on the AI in an emergency.

5. AI limitations & no warranty

The AI may make mistakes, mishear details, or be unavailable. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for reviewing captured details and confirming bookings.

The AI is not a substitute for professional judgement and its output is not professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any call it fails to answer, mishears, or misclassifies (including failing to identify an emergency), nor for any job, revenue, or business lost as a result. You remain responsible for your customers and your work.

6. Fees

£219 per month + VAT, billed monthly with no minimum term, unless otherwise agreed in your order. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies (see section 12).

7. Data protection

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process caller data on your behalf, we do so as your processor under a Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of these terms.

8. Liability

Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost business.

9. Suspension & termination

Either party may terminate as set out in your order. We may suspend the service for misuse, non-payment, or legal/security reasons. On termination we delete or return data per the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to, or to allow anyone to:

  • break any law or regulation, or facilitate unlawful activity;
  • make or enable abusive, harassing, threatening, deceptive, fraudulent or spam calls;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • upload malicious code, or attempt to disrupt, probe, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, without refund.

11. Your indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us (and our staff and suppliers) harmless against any claims, demands, losses, fines, penalties, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or connected with: your use of the service; the personal data of your callers; your failure to inform callers or to maintain a lawful basis for recording and AI handling of calls; content or instructions you provide; or your breach of these terms or of any applicable law. You are the controller of your callers’ personal data and are responsible for compliance.

12. 30-day money-back guarantee

New customers may request a full refund of the subscription fee paid by contacting us within 30 days of starting their first paid month. The guarantee applies once per business, to the subscription fee only (not to any third-party, telephony, or usage charges), and does not apply where the service has been misused or these terms have been breached.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
